What is a Laser?
A laser is a device that controls the way energized atoms release their energy. “Laser” is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
What is the Average Laser Treatment Duration?
Most conditions take approximately 6 to 8 visits, depending on the severity. Chronic or severe conditions may take 15 or more treatments.
The typcial treatment is 3 to 9 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. The K-Laser treatments must be delivered directly to your skin and are painless.
One of the effects of the K-Laser treatment is vasodilation – which means your blood and lymphatic vessels have a larger diameter. This helps with inflammation reduction, but for some people the vasodilation can also make them sore. Use ice on the area or a pain relief gel such as Biofreeze to help with any discomfort.
